Meerkats are always on the lookout for any possible danger. This gang of them seem to have all directions under heavy surveillance. A group of meerkats can be called a gang, a mob or a clan. These are the most hilarious animals. I’ll bet Shardae could come up with outfits to suit either gang, mob, or clan. Immediate images popped into my aging brain!
I don’t think Meerkats really belong to a gang. I think they’re just a bunch of poseur punks. I think the name for a group of Meerkats should be changed to “a punk of Meerkats.”
Glancing ever so briefly at the tiny thumbnail of this image, what’s left of my mind immediately imagined I was looking at the uprights of a fence in a field. Meerkats just may take first place as Mother Nature’s humorists.

Meerkats always make me giggle! I really think they should be called a posse: “saddle up boys, we’re circling the wagons”!
