This is an old one from the film days. I had driven to the top of Mount Evans in Colorado (the highest paved road in North America) where a few mountain goats joined me to watch the setting sun. Nikon F100 with Nikkor 80-200mm lens, Fuji Provia 100 speed slide film (shutter and aperture unrecorded)
great pic. I found out that flim from 70;s and 80;s are just as good the digal stuff, my film pic,are still[ good, I wish they would bring the price of down,.this mt. goat pic, looks great on film, do you have any ondigal[ fil[m, so we cancompare the two,?
I used to shoot slide film and still have all the slides around somewhere but had them all scanned to digital files. I’m not sure you can compare a slide to a digital file, but as far as the digital files go I much prefer a digital file from a digital camera to a digital file from even the best drum scanner. At the size that I post them online, however, they look about the same.
thianks for the avidives, me be i will stick with digal camera I thought I might go back to film camera but it is to costly, to use 120 fil;m and then get delp. and pritted, so i guess I will stay with digal camerea, and put film camera rest for now.
Still a very good shot Sean. Like you I think digital cameras have more to offer these days, and as Michael says film & processing is so costly these days. Some people will argue film is better than digital, as they do over Vinyl against CDs in the audio field.

Texture of wool and stone—-Brought together in a study of anticipation—-The old stuff still works.
The quality of light here is just lovely. And I want to pet him, he looks soooo soft!
Thanks Amanda. They get quite a coat when the weather starts to turn cold.
Looks chilly up there.
It was very chilly as I recall. The goat didn’t seem to mind though.
