A large flock of wild turkeys has been wandering around in our yard and back woods for the past few weeks. Occasionally, they walk past one of my camera traps. Nikon D810 with Nikkor 17-35mm lens (at 20mm) ISO 500, f/14 at 1/200th of a second, Cognisys camera box, trail monitor and remote flash units.
Wow, that is a great shot! I love the dark blue sky & the golden leaf-strewn forest floor, but the turkey’s head is wonderful. It doesn’t hurt that your camera trap also caught two birds in the background. Real nice scene, Sean, & just in time for Thanksgiving!
Thanks Sue. The fact that they were decent enough to walk in front of the camera makes up for the fact that they left their digestive mess all over the back yard.

Captures how I feel when I face the day! Thanks
Ha, yes, that face says it all.
