Here’s another one of the baby white tufted ear marmosets that I photographed in northeastern Brazil. There’s nothing in this picture to give perspective of size, but these guys are very small — about the size of a squirrel.
Mom, I understand your concern, but I don’t do the naming, merely the picture taking. That being said, the white does refer to the ear tufts which most certainly are of a whitish color. Also keep in mind that this is just a baby. Those tufts – a bit of an off white right now – will be snow white in a few years.

He might be small but he still kind of scares me. Good point your mom has!
