This guy is actually sitting on the railing of our tent’s front porch. I was on the other end of the porch. There was a nearby fruiting tree and I guess this was the best place to sit back and enjoy. Photographed in a private concession just north of the Masai Mara in Kenya. Nikon D300 with Nikkor 200-400mm lens (at 310mm) ISO 800, f/4 at 1/125th of a second.
Wow, what a shot, Sean! This monkey’s white fur outlines & highlights its dark face, limbs, hands & feet. The colorful fruit helps to guide the viewers eyes to its remarkable face, with its even more remarkable eyes. The vertical flow of its fur stands out against the nicely blurred background. This photo move me!

Their hands and feet are so human like. In point of fact, it looks like his fingernails have been manicured and finished with black nail polish!
Did he offer you any or did he just sit there eating it in front of you like a jerk?
Love how his toes are crossed over each other — totally relaxed, for an afternoon snack
