Back by popular demand, a baby tarsier. This little hair ball is about the size of a baseball and hails from the island of Sulawesi in Indonesia. I’ve posted quite a few pictures of these guys in the past, but always a good way to start the week. Nikon D300 with Nikkor 200-400mm lens (at 290) ISO 200, f/8 at 1/60th of a second, two Nikon SB-800 flash units
I always enjoy your comments Peter B. This little guy is so endearing, a cute-as little fur ball! Nice one Sean. I must make myself a double flash bracket for occasions like this. No matter which camera you use, your images are always tack sharp Sean. I am always impressed. I am shortly venturing into full frame with a D-610, so looking forward to that. Cheers Lawrie 🙂
Of course Shardae, that is what Sean Crane does well, remembers!! And I love tarsiers. Happy, happy birthday to you. Levine get on this one. I want a koala hugging tarsier….

A portable conscience—-In a pocket or perched on shoulder—-How can one go wrong.——–Happy Monday!
What a fascinating little fellow. Reminds me of a Furby toy.
Yes, a Furby! You totally nailed it with that call.

Thanks Lawrie, I use the double flash set up when I can get close. It helps to eliminate any harsh shadows.
