Being Valentine’s Day, I figured it only appropriate to post a little animal love. These two Japanese macaques were enjoying a bit of cuddle time while the rest of the monkeys were relaxing in the hot springs up in the mountains near Nagano Japan. Gorgeous shot and so appropriate for today. Brings to mind the great documentary, Baraka, which opens with snow monkeys in the hot springs. If you’ve never seen this, it’s a visual feast. The snow monkeys are in the 1st minute of the start. http://documentaryheaven.com/baraka/
