Ringtail lemurs love to bask in the early morning warmth of the sun. This little guy was doing what they do best — sitting in an almost meditative way, waiting for the sun to rise. Shot in southern Madagascar at Berenty Reserve. Nikon D200 with Nikkor 80-200mm lens (at 185mm) ISO 100, f/2.8 at 1/1000th of a second
great pic. ) I am wait for the morning sun rise right it is starting to get cold to night, it is about fouthy five in Lakeside, cal. right now, wich is cold for this part of town, ) looks like this little creature is wait to warm up. )
I like the mood of the pic, but from my experience in Berenty, the little guy was just waiting for the guests to go to the dining room for breakfast, so he could sneak into our rooms and filch our lychee!
(They even neatly peeled them, and left the skin and seeds on the window sill)!
But they’re forgiven! They delighted us with their antics and their dancing!
——- When past is prologue
——- And prologue past
——- And it goes awfully fast
——- Just wait They’ll play it again
——- I like it this way
——- Deja Vu
——- And you ?

Even a ringtail lemur knows when the light is the best.
You know I love this!
