Ring Tailed Lemur (The New Face of Me)
First off, sorry for the inadvertent post yesterday afternoon. I’ve been working on re-skinning my website and something accidentally sent out a rogue email. As you can see, I have a new look, featuring a ring tailed lemur logo. It’s tough to say what my favorite animal is. Usually it’s whatever I’m photographing next. That being said, I’ve always had a bit of an extra fondness for lemurs and Madagascar in general, so I figured why not. The site is still a work in progress and will probably change several times over the next few weeks. For now, I’m going with this. If you click on the logo and go to the homepage, you’ll see that my slideshow is now fullscreen in your browser. This definitely shows off the photos better if you have a large screen, but does cause some cropping problems on mobile devices and browser windows that aren’t to the approximate dimensions of the image. For now, it’s a good compromise. Let me know what you think. And as I’ve been doing for the past month or so, click on the photo of the day image for a full size view.

My vote: Crazy Awesome new look. ‘ nuff said.
Thanks Michael. Still working out some kinks but nice to have something new up.
hello, this great, it spices the job -up. we need thing ever six months or so.? a job well done.
Thanks Michael.
I like the new look, Sean, from my iPhone view. Will check out the website via the desktop in the morning. The lemur is a trophy animal. Hairy, but frog like toes and fingers and penetrating
bright eyes.
That should read not “trophy” but “trippy”.
Thanks Sue. Lemurs are certainly very prehistoric animals. Prosimians. Primates before monkeys and apes appeared in the rest of the world.
—– All agility and grace
—– Glowing eyes and rings to boot
—– But has not a name .
I think I’ll need a larger screen. Sean ,
thanks for your eye and look out for
dentists.
Thanks Peter. The bigger the screen the better as I’ve uploaded some rather big files to the homepage slideshow.
Jackson and I give it two thumbs up 😊
Thanks Pedro and Jackson.
Looking good. Looking good.
Fascinating creature – very other-worldly looking.
Madagascar is a very other-worldly place, that’s for sure.
Boy that tail goes on and on.
Great choice!
I love the photo and the new look.
Thanks Maria.
coincidentally this just popped …. in today’s other lemur news:

Interesting. Thanks Sarah. Next time I photograph lemurs I’ll make sure to stick around long enough for the yawn shot.
Awesome new look & logo Sean! LOL I am cracking up over here because whenever I change or even add a page to my site people get all kinds of weird emails from me too! I don’t recall anyone ever telling me they got a message in Latin though, lol, that was a new one!! 🙂
Thanks Amanda. I’ll be tinkering for the next few weeks so hopefully I don’t let out any more of those Latin messages.
Berenty i suppose ??? cause of the red sand…
