I met this young red fox several years back at Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge in Delaware. He/she had one sibling and they were playing around with each other having a good old time while their mother was out hunting for breakfast. Adorable pup! I’ve seen them close-up at Salisbury Beach, MA. The young ones [if young enough] are curious and aren’t afraid of humans yet I’ve only been through Bombay Hook once but will be relocating close to there in a few years and hope to make that my new stomping ground.

Very sweet! Love the matching background hue – talk about habitat camo!
True. Although this little guy seemed to have little interest in hiding from me. He/she almost ran right up to me.
So beautiful, great photo
Thanks Grace. I do love the foxes.
