The poppies were in full bloom and everywhere throughout France and Italy. This one was taken in the last few minutes of twilight, just outside the town of Montalcino in Tuscany, Italy.
You know how sometimes you’re sitting in the waiting room of a dentist’s office and you’re looking around at the art on the walls, and you’re all nervous cause you’re getting some cavities filled, and the art on the walls is supposed to be all peaceful to help you relax, but you can’t because you’re too focused on the reality of the events of the coming hour? I think you should sell this image to dentists.
Some beautiful depth of field going on there Sean. I’ve never been to Tuscany but it looks like it is kind of hard to take a bad photograph there. Am I right? That place is just majestic.
