Hear’s another shot from that magical morning up at Seal River Lodge in northern Manitoba, Canada. This was a little later in the morning from the photo that is in my “Favorites” gallery. The light wasn’t quite as soft but still pretty great with the backlit mist rising from low tide on the Hudson Bay. Nikon D700 with Nikkor 70-200mm lens (at 98mm) ISO 800, f/5.6 at 1/1250th of a second (+2 ev)

What a view!
Gorgeous shot. Beautiful moment. Its nice to see warmth during the winter.
This may, some day in the future, be a memorable capture of a time when there was ice up there. Beautiful, warm shot, Sean.
SO stunning!
Where’s their baby?
A most excellent capture Mr. Crane. Love the rim light and the mixed temperatures. Nicely done.
Uh-maaaazing. So this is where dry ice comes from? 😉
oh what great sun rises, and the morning creature on their daily walk.
thank you for catching such a nice shot of these magneficent creatures. I am afraid they won’t last long.
