As the weather heats up, thought it would be a good time to post another polar bear. This guy appeared to be catching snowflakes on his tongue, although he was really just giving his paws a good lick. Nikon D300 with Nikkor 200-400mm lens (at 340mm) ISO 800, f/4 at 1/320th of a second
Considering how ferocious polar bears can be what a beautiful sweet lovely shot he looks so docile like you can take him home for a family pet amazing shot
I can see that, although at the time, that -27 degrees with the windchill was very very cold. But as long as there were bears around, I didn’t mind one bit.

I agree with Sue. I love catching snowflakes on my tongue……but happily those days are gone. Not much snow activity here in Florida!
