I’ve placed my camera trap in a new spot in our back woods which seems to be a highly travelled area for certain nighttime visitors. In addition to this coyote, a bear passed through shortly after early Monday morning. Nikon D810 with Nikkor 20mm lens, ISO 500, f/14 at 1/200th of a second.
They seem to be very abundant this year , saw one at Westchester Cty Airport last week while leaving at night when they are most active, but at your compound seems to be activity anytime of the day
WOW! What perfect lighting to capture the stealth of these creatures roaming at night. Gorgeous composition. Do you hear them at night calling to one another? It’s a really spooky experience to hear them.

Wow, what a score, Sean! Congrats!
It looks like the camera flash may have captured his attention . Your backwoods
are quite busy with the variety of creatures living there.

“My backwoods” sounds like a euphemism for something. I’m not quite sure what. But it’s nowhere I’d like to put a camera.
