Just back from Africa this afternoon. Great trip but still need to download all images. In the meantime, the Summer 2023 issue of National Wildlife magazine came out while I was away. The cover features my image of a leatherback sea turtle hatchling photographed in Trinidad a few years back. A link to the digital issue can be found here.
Cover is just eye opening of what they face big Ocean in front of them & deserves to be where it is Great Job Sean
Welcome back Karen & Sean we are all looking forward to sharing your adventures

Bravo, Sean! Beautiful image of your wee leatherback sea turtle hatchling!
Thanks Sue. The best part — with my personal wide-angle escort, the vultures didn’t dare come close.
Welcome home, Sean. Love this photo. Now others can see it and love it too. So proud of you!
Thanks Mom.
Wonderful! Congratulations.
Thanks Mary.
Very cool, Sean!
Thanks Kel.
Congrats!! You know we love this photo 🙂
Ah, yes, you have the metal print.
It must be a special feeling to see your photographs published. Congratulations! Hope the trip to Africa was successful.
Thanks Bob, and yes, always great to see my work out there in the world.

Aunt Sur
Thanks Aunt Sue. Back safe and sound and with a lot of great memories.
Interesting article about light pollution. I am glad your hatchling was chosen for the cover.
Thanks Donna. Me too.
Congratulations Sean!
Thanks Lady Bolton of Tinkerpond. Appreciate it.
Amazing and incredible, congrats! Such a cool perspective.
Thanks Angelina. The face full of sand was well worth it.
I hate light pollution. If i see one more person throwing photons out their car window on I-78 i’m going to lose my shit. Great work Sean!
Thanks Louis. And yes, I agree (on the light pollution part).
Congratulations! It is a superb shot.
Thanks Rachel.
Congratulations! I’ve missed you in my inbox!
Thanks Teresa. Some good ones from Africa coming up next.
Congratulations! Love the photo. Says so much: how brave, tender, vast, unknown, and beautiful the natural world is…
No doubt. Thanks Judy.
