Just got back from an 11-day business trip to Toronto. Per usual, I found a few hours here and there to get out with the camera. I had heard that the Toronto area is a good place to see mink and I put forth my best effort to try and find one. Unfortunately, no luck, but I did come across several other creatures along the way, including this mute swan that appeared to be floating in a sea of pastel as the sun set on Lake Ontario. Lovely, Sean. I am always fascinated by the colors in the sky and the water as the sun sets and throws back light onto the clouds. All shades of pink and purple, to name a few. And to add the majestic swan to this image makes it so peaceful.

Beautiful composition <3
Thanks Andi.
What a beautiful shot, Sean! Love the hues in the water and sky. I agree with Andi that the composition is awesome.
Thanks Sue. It wasn’t the mink that I was looking for, but in nature you never do know what you’re going to get.
what happen this pic. has to much pink ?
Nothing happened Michael. The sun was setting and that was the color of the sky and its reflection on the water.
Perfect.

Gorgeous! Love it when the sky seems to melt into the water and in this case, the swan arranged as an anchor. Love this.
