The moose on the left is the mother and the one with the antlers his her grown calf, now a bull. They were grazing along a small creek just past the north east entrance to Yellowstone in the town of Silver Gate, Montana. Taken a few years back in winter, my favorite season to visit the park. Is there any difference between the moose you encounter in Yellowstone and those you see in Maine?
—– When most color is gone
—– Only great beasts keep thoughts of spring
—– Warm until the flowers come .
Here you go again wowing us with your wildlife landscapes! Beautiful!
Hope to see one this summer on our visit there,I can see why you enjoy the solitude of winter there
