Nothing much to say here — just a lilac breasted roller enjoying breakfast. These colorful birds are very common in much of Africa. This one was photographed in the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy in Kenya.
Funny she should take her name from her lilac feathers when she appears to have more turquoise and royal blue feathers! And I guess if a specimen in the aviary world is this colorful, it must be a male!
