I certainly wasn’t going to get through Halloween week without posting a few bats. Not sure of the exact species here (there are so many of them) but these six boys (clearly they are boys) were roosting in a cave in Sumatra, Indonesia. bats can be pest in the neck, one of my jobs, that worked on had bat in the side of their house, they had made their cave, in the walls of the wooden walls and it was real mess to get rid of them, ) in sourthern cal. alpine, cal. ) I think they quite unertly. to look at. thank for the graet pic. of them.

Didn’t know this about bats. . . gross and fascinating.
