About five years ago, I posted a closer crop of this mother reticulated giraffe and her baby. Here’s a wider view which I think I now like better. I was in Kenya in November, the time of the short rains, which meant plenty of great clouds and lush green rolling hills — the perfect backdrop for all the great wildlife. Love to see those shots of the babies!
I’m sure the closer crop was wonderful but I just love it when you incorporate more of the natural landscape! Great!
My favorite animal!!! Just love their grace, especially for their size!
No doubt, Marcia. Especially seeing them running in the wild. They’re both awkward and graceful at the same time.
amazing on so many levels – the colors are stunning!
Thanks Tamar.
