This genet interrupted our dinner one night while on safari in Botswana. I always bring my gear with me to meals just in case of such an occurrence. Usually, nothing, but this time I was able to get a series of shots, a few of which I’ve posted in the past. Normally, I have zero-tolerance for interruptions when dining. If a Genet (or other creature) came calling during the main course, however, I would willingly slide my chair from the dinner table to focus attention in the critter’s direction. Nice capture!

Ha. Yes, me too. Dinner is sacred, but a great wildlife sighting, even more so.
