I’ve mentioned before just how small dik diks are — one of the smallest antelope species in Africa. If you look close you can see that this one has a fly on its forehead between the eyes. That should give a bit of an indication just how small in size they are. Photographed in Samburu, Kenya. Nikon D500 with Nikkor 200-400mm lens (at 380mm) ISO 400, f/9 at 1/60th of a second.
I see what you’re doing here: Posting about how small dik-diks are, trying to bait me into the obvious joke. Not gonna work. Nuh uh. I am a comment section comedian sir, not some potty mouthed joke slinger. I provide high-brow chuckles. The fancy stuff. This is Black Amex punwork I’m doing here. So tuck your tiny little dik-dik back in and walk away because I am not going to fall for it.
I think we did see a few of these when we went to Africa. They seem so gentle and sprightly, nimble and sure footed on the rocks. I so want to go back!!

And he doesn’t even seem to mind. I love these little guys 🙂
No doubt Shardae. I didn’t even notice the fly until downloading the images.

No, no you’re not.
Love the photo as much as I like their name!

Me too. Got my first vaccine shot today. There is light and I see it getting closer.
