The sun and shade mid-day light wasn’t great on this one and I wasn’t even going to bother taking any photos, but then the two bears started dancing and playing around with each other, rolling on their backs, etc. This happened in my backyard a couple of days ago. You never know what you’re going to see back there. Nikon D500 with Nikkor 500mm PF lens, ISO 500, f/5.6 at 1/200th of a second.
I saw a couple of dancing bears in my yard once. It’s was so serendipitous and moving. The dancing bears were on a t-shirt of a stoner friend who was stopping by on his way to a Grateful Dead show, but that didn’t matter: I still cried tears of joy.
I have of course, never been there, but I LOVE your backyard! And it looks like they were dancing as if no one was watching! I’d keep the dog in for a while.

Yes, they’re adorable, but Sean, they’re WILD animals! Please be careful. And keep Casey far far away from them.

Also listen to your mother Sean.
