Chimpanzees can be difficult to photograph in the wild. They spend most of their time high in the canopy set against the bright white backdrop of the sky. After several days trying to get decent shots, I finally came upon a troop closer to the ground. This female saw me through the opening in the tree before scampering off to higher ground. Sean,
I visit your images every day because I’m very interested in Fauna/Natural History.
I really liked the image of the 2 Bee/eaters.
To get them both at opposite stages of their Wing Flapping & in such a good composition was beautiful.
I’m txting this msg as I saw that you had a poor turnout of comments.
I’m not really sure why but I remember when I saw your subject line ‘Bee Eaters'(before seeing the Photo) it gave me a small Jolt as I’m one of those people who appreciate what Bees do for us(I mean that most people don’t like animals which eat Bees).
I’m wondering if the low comments were due to that factor as it is one that the public at large are aware of.
