On Tuesday, I posted a photo of a baby black crested macaque and commented on the green eyes. This is the adult and as you can see, those eyes eventually turn a bright orange. These monkeys have such amazing faces — very human yet very cartoony at the same time. Here is the link to Tuesday’s post where you can see how much their look changes over the years. Very intense isn’t he, looking intently at something. He’s a big fellow alright. Nice shot Sean!
are sure this is the same speiess, as the one we saw last week?
It is Michael. They certainly change quite a bit. The face becomes much more elongated.
Gone sweet charm of youth—-Devolved to mature gravitas—-Intense eyes, a new glow.
Why the long face…
I was thinking the same thing Gray. “A black crested macaque walks into a bar and the bartender says, why the long face.”
what a fantastic portrait of a very interesting looking face! I just want to know what he is thinking about!!!!!
handsome boy Sean, nice to see the adult, great shot as always
