This is a green-crested lizard from the Indonesian island of Sumatra. It appears to be focused on something above, perhaps a butterfly or moth, its most common prey.
I’m not this guy’s mother, but in my eyes he has a lovely countenance! Marvelous greens with all those varieties of textures to look at on the skins of animal and plant.
He’s a reptile alright, but probably very nice. Turtles are in the same Class but in a different Order.
