Back to the Badlands for this one. I’m not quite sure of the exact species of cottontail, but this little rabbit was running around early in the morning at one of the popular pullouts in the park. There were a couple of other rabbits there as well, but this one was easily the smallest and clearly younger than the rest. super cute, love his little whiskers! We had a baby bunny living in our backyard this spring, he was so tiny and adorable! Our old dog had no clue he was there, but our cat was desperately and constantly trying to get out of the house to eat him. Fortunately the bunny won, kitty stays inside! lol
