Wow! This guy looks so different from the “Peter Cottontails” I see around here all the time. I assume they are at least cousins. But this jackrabbit looks much more like a speed demon than do our cute chubby cottontails. And for some reason, even though I have seen many coyotes this summer, the bunnies have survived, thank goodness.
