Brown Bear Sunrise

Coastal Brown Bear at Sunrise, Lake Clark National Park, AlaskaWe only had one morning with this kind of light — made possible by that narrow seam that opened up in the clouds. This lone bear cooperated by taking a sunrise stroll across the wet sand at low tide.

Very nice, Sean! Love the special colors of sunrise that you captured so well in this image. Of course, the scene is punctuated by the bear sauntering across the sandy shore. What a shot!

Reminds me of that great shot when the polar bear just happened to stroll into the foreground of your great shot up there. This is exceptional!
