Maned Wolf

A maned wolf in front of red rock cliffs in Hyacinth Valley.

This one really gives a sense of how tall these guys are (four feet from ground to shoulder), the tallest canine in the Americas. Although it looks more like a fox, it’s actually a wolf, photographed in a remote area of northeastern Brazil.

    I really like this animal, and this photo is pretty amazing at showing off its slender legs. I would like to use this as a time line photo on my facebook. but I have no idea how to go about asking for permission from the photographer. can someone help me out?
